Summer Term 2024

Group starts : Monday 15th April - Friday 24th May

(Half term holiday : Monday 27th May – Friday 31st May)

(Summer holiday : Monday 22nd July to Monday 2nd September)

Will fully participate in lessons to gain maximum benefit
Will assist in identifying problem areas in a topic
Will make sure they have stable internet connection, working webcam and microphone
Will set up computer 5 minutes before the lesson in order to start promptly

Cancellation & Refund Policies

Refunds

Given my dependence on a regular income, it’s important to note that refunds aren’t granted for illnesses or situations not classified as emergencies. Similarly, students who miss lessons won’t receive refunds. However, for those unable to attend due to illness or any other reason, online recordings of the lessons and supplementary worksheets will be made available.

Cancellation

In the event that a session needs to be canceled, I will make every effort to provide advance notice and will work to schedule a substitute lesson. Refunds for the session will be issued if rescheduling isn’t feasible. Additionally, it’s important to note that contracts can be terminated by either party at any time. To ensure a smooth transition, a one-week notice of cancellation is kindly requested.

Pricing & Lessons

All lessons are held online via zoom. All sessions are grouped with a maximum of 5 students per group. Sessions are 1 hour long and are held term time only.

There are currently 2 packages:

Standard Package – This consists of 1 weekly session for 1 hour of your chosen subject.

GCSE (Year 9, 10 & 11) group are priced at £30 an hour

Fast–Track Package – This consists of two 1 hour sessions per week. The two sessions will be on different days.

GCSE (year 9, 10 & 11) group are priced at £25 an hour

This works out 1 free session a month

All students will undergo a trial session where they can join in a class and see how it all works.

Payment

Payments are set up on direct debit and are received on the 1st of every month. This will be upfront payments for the months’ sessions ahead. If the student begins in the middle of the month, the remaining monthly lessons’ payment will be required in advance.

*if payment is not received on the 1st of the month, parent will be notified and the student cannot resume lessons until payment for the month is made in full*

Holidays

To maintain clarity, please refer to the term dates listed at the top of this page as sessions are exclusively conducted during term time. It’s essential to note that sessions continue on bank holidays unless they coincide with the established holiday dates (refer above). In cases where your child’s school holidays differ from those stated above, it’s important to acknowledge that payment is still necessary to secure your child’s spot. Rest assured, students who miss sessions will receive online video access and supplementary worksheets to facilitate catching up on missed work.
